I started the idea in order to increase awareness of the company in the local area. At to that end it has been very successful. The number of toddlers turning up each week has steadily increased and the pet project has brought up some very interesting photographs as Im sure you know if youve looked at the gallery. But thats not it by a long chalk We carry on refining and increasing the ideas. So for June there will be a new set of themes and some tweaking. First were not going to run a theme on the pets any more just become creative with the pets that turn up. We found that having a single theme each week would restrict what we wanted to do in that week. Second were going to hit the portfolios a lot more for Thursdays. Ive got some great ideas that got drowned out in the enthusiasm of the other two promotional days so this month were going to be more proactive with the models ... 2010-5-28T00:00:00Z http://www.lendancedesignerimages.com/page49.htm#65208 As we come to the end of our second week of scheduled events the word is spreading This week the Toddler Tuesday theme was Rocking Horse. We got a Victorian style rocking horse in the studio taken off its rocker so that the kids could climb over it in safety. We then got great pictures of the toddlers riding playing and standing with the horse. Have a look and see what you think . Pet Wednesdays theme was Head Down and we got the largest German shepherd cross in Ive eve ever seenA great shot and again well worth a look . As Im writing this were running a portfolio shoot with three girls who have turned up for Portfolio Thursday. All in all a good week As for next week the themes are displayed here Why not come and see what all the fuss is about. Our first weeks Toddlers Tuesday and Walkies Wednesday and we got off to a good start with our first two themes. For the kids we chose Windows to the soul with the idea that we could get some nice close up portraits and we got some great images you can check them out here. Kids are always able to give you a honest view of the world and you can see the innocence of youth by just looking at these pictures. With the pets we had an opportunity to work with a puppies and kittens not at the same time but again we were so happy to see that the images really worked. The theme was Running for a treat and being that the animals were so young meant they were also up for running and jumping all over the studio. All in all it was a great launch and were looking forward to building up the numbers each week. As for Thursday Well Thursday is Folios Portfolios for models and Promtional images for performance artists. People have been popping in and out all day for their free photoshoots which will later be put up on Facebook for all to see.
